Respectful Observer - are you Rick Fearon?
Yes. You'll notice he mentions Massachusetts in a couple of his past posts.
selena vertolomo, former jehovah's witnesses who was sexually abused in watchtower, went to visit tony morris in north carolina.
selena and her sister call in and explain their position.
callers dial in from around the world and ask plenty of questions.

thought inspired by my post on tattoos: within the watchtower organisation, how many "conscience issues" actually are?
are people who actually do exercise their consciences in grey areas painting a target on their backs for the more hard-line dubs?
are they quietly avoided because " bad associations spoil useful habits"?

a real estate document on the robeson county website is filed:.
the religious order of jehovah's witnesses has provided a "life estate" for them.they can live in this townhouse until they are deceased or choose to move away and in either case the ownership becomes entirely the property of jehovah's witnesses.
I imagine his local congregation will know his home so won't stop by except to use the bathroom out in service.
what a pathetic state if affairs.. https://used-tools-equipment.com/.
are they really this clueless and desperate?.
most organizations would just toss this stuff in the trash bin..
Agreed, their prices are not at all competitive and provide less customer protection than easier methods such as eBay. There's absolutely no benefit to order from them other than the novelty of owning Bethel-used items.
the october 2023 study watchtower - p. 18, par.
2 exhorts jw's to personally dig deeper into the scriptures.
"an excellent way to study the bible is to see how the var ious parts of its message connect together.
The caveat though is to only research this using current JW publications.
i remember when i was "in" the org.
had a ridiculous public talk outline defending the genesis flood myth.. do they have a current one doing that ?.
You mean the stuff about near-identical worldwide legends, worldwide pyramids, worldwide festivals for the dead around that time of year, quick frozen animals, drastic polar temperature shifts and evidence of traumatic geologic disruption? Yes im sure this material is used in different ways.

the jehovah's witness 2023 convention theme is, ''exercise patience''...by looking at the attendance at this tucson, arizona convention, it should be changed to, '' jehovah's witnesses...running out of patience''.
.
So many conventions this year had attendance the size of circuit assemblies. So many are streaming it, even healthy people that wouldn't dare do that a few years ago. I wonder if they'll continue wasting money on these venues.
can anyone tell me the reason why jw.org has never mentioned this book: the obedience of a christian man, by william tyndale?
i mean, they talk and write articles about his translation of the bible, about him being against the pope, etc.
so, why didn't i ever read or hear about this interesting book?.
Maybe they don't like the parts where Tyndale decries the church's "intrusion into daily life" and how it "actively distorts scripture to fulfill its own needs".
Maybe it's because, regarding the scriptures, he called out the church's fear that "every man would interpret it for himself".
Perhaps the bit about "tangling of any man's conscience and....pain of excommunication" that hit close to home.
Or it might be the simple idea that "every Christian has a direct relationship with God....a Christian's own salvation is within him".
